What to do in Southern Utah

Utah can be a great place to travel to if you love the outdoors and you love to see the wonders of Mother Nature. Below I have listed a few of the adventures you can have while in Southern Utah.

1. Go to the Arches National Park

Some of the most amazing rock structures on earth are at the Arches National Park. Words cannot describe the beauty and breathtaking natural structures that exist there. If you are traveling to southern Utah and want to take some amazing pictures this is the place for you.

2. Best Friends Animal Sanctuary

Best Friends takes in all sorts of animals who simply do not have loving homes to go to. They take care of the animals and let them run around on their 60,000 + acres of land. You can visit it any time to take a tour or to adopt animals. If you are an animal lover you will find this place pretty amazing.

3. Go To Hovenweep National Monument

This is a small Indian village that stood in the south eastern part of Utah. Indians used to live here and prosper many hundreds of years ago. The great part about this park is that you can actually see a lot of the old towers and houses that the Indians used to call home. If you love Native Americans you will love visiting this park.

4. Go Fishing on One of Utah’s Great Fishing Lakes

Utah is an outdoor state and there is plenty of fishing to go around. There are a lot of great lakes like Lake Powell and Fish Lake that are simply amazing spots and anyone who loves to fish will love these spots.
