Go Camping in Style with a Trailer Tent
While campers and RV’s are often the item of choice for those who like to travel and camp out, trailer tents and their cousin, the folding tent, are gaining in use and popularity. While trailer tents and folding tents naturally are not as luxurious as many camper are nowadays, they do have their own unique advantages, the most obvious ones being that they are way cheaper to buy and way cheaper to maintain than campers and RV’s are.
There are a number of good brands to choose from if you are looking into getting either a trailer tent or folding camper. Trigano, CampMaster, Conway, TransCapmer and Jamet are a few good brands to choose from. You can get trailer tents that are smaller, which are good for just a couple on the holidays, or you can get some that can comfortably accommodate up to eight people.
A good way to get a cheap trailer tent is to buy one second hand. There are a number of internet retailers that sell second hand trailer tents; you might not get as much of a choice as you would with buying a new tent, but if you do not have a lot of money to spend then this would likely be a good option for you.
Folding campers are another good option to consider. Like trailer tents, some are larger and some are smaller. If you get one of the larger ones they also come with amenities such as electricity and drainage, which are always super convenient to have.
Of course you will want to check out a few shops and/or internet sites before actually purchasing either a folding tent or trailer tent, no matter whether you are buying a new or second hand trailer tent or folding tent. You should have a clear idea of how large or small a tent you are looking for, what, if any, amenities are important to you, and of course, how much it costs and how much money you have in your budget to work with.
Another good thing about trailer tents is that they offer better protection from bad weather than traditional tents do. Try to get a trailer tent that is made with Ten Cate – it is a good quality tent cloth that will keep out the rain and other inclement weather.
Roger camps regularly in Trailer Tents and prefers to use aConway Trailer Tent for their ease of use.
